On February 8, 2023, the Latvian Capital Market Forum organized by the Financial and Capital Market Supervisory Authority will be held for the third year. Its purpose is to promote expert discussions and institutional cooperation in order to develop the Latvian capital market and use its potential as widely as possible. A developed capital market promotes the inflow of local and foreign investments into Latvia, opens wide opportunities for local and foreign businessmen to attract financial resources, and also gives investors the opportunity to invest in the development of Latvia’s national economy.

“The development of the Latvian capital market, even after the integration of the Financial and Capital Market Commission into the Bank of Latvia, is an essential and priority direction of our work. By actively addressing and involving partners, we continue our work to make the local capital market even more attractive for both investors and entrepreneurs.”
Santa Purgaile
Deputy President of the Bank of Latvia
